Digital healthcare connected.

Together with a leading healthcare provider, Consulteer developed a modular SaaS platform for the digital coordination of outpatient care processes. The goal was to guide patients through structured pathways, allocate resources effectively, and connect digital and analog care in one continuous system.

The platform brings all relevant stakeholders into a shared digital logic - from patients and physicians to dispatch teams, telemedicine providers, service organizations, and payers. It serves as an integrating layer between existing systems rather than creating an isolated parallel structure.

Challenge

Outpatient care is complex and fragmented.

  • Patients often enter the system without structured pre-qualification.

  • Emergency and service structures are under pressure.

  • Digital and physical care are not seamlessly connected.

  • Multiple stakeholders operate in separate IT environments.

What is missing is a cross-cutting orchestration layer that connects processes, allocates resources, and creates transparency.

Solution

Consulteer was responsible for requirements analysis, system architecture, and technical implementation of the platform. Key functions are brought together in a comprehensive, role-based system:

  • Initial medical assessment

  • Appointment management

  • Video consultations

  • Scheduling

The cloud-native microservices architecture ensures scalability, reliability, and maintainability. Standardized interfaces and clear role and authorization concepts enable the secure, data protection-compliant integration of existing care and IT structures.

The solution is based on a modular, cloud-native architecture designed for scalability, multi-tenancy, and continuous evolution in live operation.
